September 19, 2022  /  Downtown Nashville Blog

Nashville is one of those cities where fun is always around the corner. If you're looking for something to do tonight, here are some great suggestions to go with whatever you're in the mood for.

3 Bars To Watch Sports

Third & Home

Not only is this one of Nashville's best spots to watch live games on television, it's also one of the best spots in town to watch live baseball. This bar boasts a 1500 sq. foot open patio, sweet happy hour deals, & quality eats. Oh, did we forget to mention that it is literally built into the side of First Horizon Park? Patrons can enjoy stunning views of this beautifully made ballpark from the comfort of a second-level upscale bar surrounded by giant televisions & Tennessee sports memorabilia! If you plan on going in, try to time it to whenever the Nashville Sounds play.

Fleet Street Pub

Yes, it is a British-style pub in the middle of Printer's Alley in Music City. Yes, it is underground. Yes, they have warm Guinnesses. Aaaand yes, you will have the time of your life cheering on Premier League soccer with other die-hard fanatics or cheering on whoever your favorite team is. This pub is loaded with televisions, and the bartenders don't mind changing the channels to meet your requests. While you're there, try their world-famous fish n chips!

Corner Pub

Located in downtown Nash, you will find this cornerstone establishment . They boast a fantastic menu, a large bar, substantial flat screens EVERYWHERE. Corner Pub is a sports bar in every sense of the word, and they are proud of that. With excellent service, good food & plenty of space for you & your crew, this local watering hole gets the thumbs up from many locals!

3 Spots for Live Music

Bourbon Street Blue's & Boogie Bar

Seven days a week, you can boogie on to this hidden Printer's Alley favorite and hear some of the best blues music Nashville offers. This tucked-away speakeasy-style bar beckons you into its dark showroom with a welcoming old-school neon sign. The types of characters you'll meet here will turn into stories you'll tell friends for years to come. Nashville has changed a lot over the years, but the spirit of Music City is alive & kicking in this bluesy boogie bar.

Assembly Food Hall

This new addition to Broadway is Nashville's attempt to make a more family-friendly environment on the street most well known for its not-so-family-friendly honky-tonks. The best part of Assembly is that it gives local artists a chance to showcase their talents. Here you get a great meal and an up-close view of the genuinely admirable grind of the Music City artist circuit.

Brooklyn Bowl

This is your ultimate night out in Nashville. Get bowling and an intimately lavish music venue all in one. This unique concept made its way to Nashville in 2021 and has rocked the Germantown neighborhood ever since. Call up a few friends and rent a lane or get some tickets to their next show!

3 Bars to Grab a Bite

Party Fowl

Tons of televisions. Tons of drink options. Tons of fun. This eatery provides a unique Louisiana twist on Nashville Hot Chicken. A must-try at this eatery is their 55oz Hot Chicken Bloody Mary. This brunch item is made to order and guaranteed to have you in a state of pure bliss....after you get over the initial burn.

12/30 Club

This is by far one of the best additions to Broadway in a long time. Backed by the star power (& presumably deep wallet) of none other than megastar Justin Timberlake, the 12/30 club is every level of downtown Nashville nightlife put together. It's got a honkytonk on the first floor, a Supper Club with dishes best categorized as "to die for" on the second level, and one of the most impressive rooftops you can find in the Music City. While their food tends to be pricier, we can assure you it is well worth it. Whether you order the Chilean Sea Bass or the Filet Mignon, ensure you get a side of Sam's "famous garlic noodles." It's a delicious dish that will forever live in your head rent-free. If you decide to mosey on to The Supper Club for a bite, make sure you’re dressed to the nines, as this place bills itself as unapologetically dapper.

Acme Feed & Seed

Acme Feed & Seed is the place to go if you're looking for a bar with that elusive historic charm that features expansive vistas of the Cumberland, Nissan Stadium, and Riverfront Park. Catch any game you want at the bar, and then head to the rooftop to enjoy a cool breeze. Their menu is where they truly shine. From "Redneck Lo Mein" to "Caribbean Sushi Rolls" they will almost certainly open up your horizons for what food can and should be.
